After God, New Unified Theory’ is essential reading for the 21st century, and higher education could actually be more of a hindrance than a help. Native intelligence and intelligent common sense is the thing, but love is more important yet! Buy the books and help with the assembly of the preconditions for our species maturity. New Unified Theory is both a new genre and an expression of faith in the potential of human being to meet and overcome the greatest challenge our species will ever encounter.
-- Open Secret’ (Book 1) is the first in a series of small volumes that will change everything because it exposes as never before, the changing nature of nature and human being. Change is the norm and to understand it is to share in a new enlightenment that was destined to appear once a naked ape was thrust upon the breathtaking stage of nature. Buy the books, read them, discuss them, and add to the flow by joining it—join the new enlightenment of an ethical atheism that gives due respect to traditional religion but recognises an altogether higher religious basis. We are what once we thought was God and are now finally in a position to prove it! Reading the tabloids is easy, but not very rewarding. By contrast, reading New Unified Theory is like doing a crossword; it is more demanding and much more rewarding—intelligence is the thing!

A second small volume, Hyperbolica ’’ has just become available so that Book 1 of New Unified Theory as opening salvo of newly exposed revolutionary potentials is supplemented by more advanced, more sophisticated yet simpler treatments that will give some indication of where the material eventually leads. There is a rule of thumb however—the later material gets easier for writer and reader alike, but still relies on the earlier!

'What if? What if black was white, error was truth and pain was pleasure? What if looking out was the same as looking in? What if space was time and what if energy was mass? It is! Energy is mass and 20th century science would fall flat on its face if it weren’t just so. In fact, unless it were just so the hi-tech society we know so well could not have appeared. The equivalence of energy and mass is a very special case, and the exception that proves the universal rule of dialectic. What if all these 'what if’ instances above and a ghostly host of similar contradictions were actually examples both of dialectic and of common sense, and therefore the actual basis of everything we do, see, say or think? It is exactly and actually so and together we can prove it! But 'what if’ what we usually take for common sense that black is black and nothing else, that error is error and nothing else, that A=A and nothing else and so on, was and still actually is, an ancient conspiracy against common sense? It truly is just so and we all have the right to know its details! Buy the books and read em! These examples of A=A (and nothing else) are examples of the anti-dialectic in which the book of Genesis and liberal democracy are grounded. Hamish shows that common sense has little to do with traditional religion, and even less to do with contemporary politics!
-- Hyperbolica
This is it! The answer you always wanted without really knowing the question. It ain’t the number 42 as Deep Thought thought it was as per Douglas Adams in the Hitch Hiker’s Guide, and it ain’t God either. On the contrary! We are the question as well as the answer and it follows, we are the way. We are it seems, what once we thought was God! It’s the last thing holy men and the scholarship that rides the waves of centuries on their shirt tails would wish to concede, and for good reasons. They might be out of a job—better to keep us all in the dark on the arrogant pretence of complexities beyond ordinary competence.
With such huge scholarly effort bent to the suppression of any such possibility, (or that we might be better off without their interference) and actually are what once we thought was God, it must surely be worth exposing what it is that was so fiercely denied. Patently, there’s more than mere poetic licence at stake. Hyperbolica is party to and part of a reaction against the unholy, patriarchal alliance of art and brute force through which impotence and political ignorance is imposed and perpetuated. Its authority therefore is not in the main drawn from scholarship, but from the competence already at play in the ordinary thinking processes of everyday life. In critically important respects therefore, what follows shows that down the centuries the priesthood and scholarship alike have secured their privileged status at the expense of everyone else.
Almost without exception the moral respectability and privileges of scholarship have been gained through two mutually supporting features namely, alignment at a deep level with existing patriarchal ideology, and the consequent misrepresentation of reality. Through the medium of a critical self-reflection, Hyperbolica exposes both the nature of misrepresentation and its correction. (The focus on the nature of representation is what anchors Hyperbolica in art.) In the process we will find perhaps why it is apt to say that we are what once we thought was God, and find in it, a liberation of the human condition available in no other way.
